Raffael Seyfried is a composer and media artist working with both electronic and acoustic material. His work is defined by a search for interesting sounds, while combining both traditional and experimental methods.
While enrolled at the Institute for Music and Media in Düsseldorf he began to write music for film while also developing an interest in electronic and algorithmic sound synthesis. 2014 he started the musical project “sine sleeper” with Julian Priessen devoted to detailed and textured electronica right from the start. He has found work on many international film projects as a composer and orchestrator and his music was part of works shown at the Whitney-Museum and MOMA PS1 in New York.
